Spring Party Planned For May 24 Benefits Community Foundation Of HoCo

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — The Community Foundation of Howard County, which raises, manages and distributes funds to support Howard County nonprofits, will hold its annual spring party outdoors on the foundation’s grounds at The Apple Ford Center at Athol Manor. The event will take place May 24 from 5 to 8 p.m. at 6680 Martin Road in Columbia.

The spring party offers an evening of networking and socializing with the foundation’s donors, friends and community leaders as well as food trucks, a raw bar, Sobar zero-alcohol cocktails, craft beer and wine, an ice cream truck and candy bar and live acoustic music. Guests also can tour Athol Manor, one of the oldest residential properties in Howard County. New this year will be a grand raffle, aerial performers and an art exhibit by Art Connection in the Capital Region.

“A local rite of spring for more than 40 years, the Community Foundation’s spring party continues to be the networking event of the season in Howard County,” said Beverly White-Seals, president and CEO of the foundation. “We’re looking forward to welcoming community leaders and foundation friends to our beautiful home in Columbia and hope to see you there.”

Proceeds from the spring party will benefit the foundation’s programs and services promoting local philanthropy and providing grant funding to nonprofit organizations serving Howard County. Tickets cost $100. For more information, tickets and sponsorship opportunities, visit CFHoCo.org/2023-spring-party-information.
