Tiger Woods has been in the hearts of golf fans for more than just one reason. His 15 major championship victories might be a huge pedestal for many. But, it is only a small portion of the golf legend’s successful career. However, other than his skills on the course, fans also adore the man for his golden heart. Woods, 47, might not be in the best state to compete in professional tournaments as of now. However, despite not having tasted success in a long time, Woods is still working towards helping the rising stars in the sport. As per Golf.com, the golf legend recently made a humble donation towards a special cause, and eventually to make the game more accessible! Being part of a fundraising drive, Woods and some other private donors came forward to bucket in $55 million in total. Sources suggest that this money is going to be used for covering project costs while building the reimagined municipal-golf facility in West Palm Beach, Fla.

The golfer also hit the first ceremonial tee shot at The Park and posted a video of the same on Twitter. “I was excited to hit the first tee shot at The Park, a public golf course for the community of West Palm Beach to enjoy,” he wrote. “This course became possible due to many donors that I am honored to be a part of this project with. Opening soon!” Although the amount that Woods chipped in was not made public, it is safe to assume that the golfer probably donated a huge bag of money towards such a noble cause.
