The Summit Foundation has opened up nominations for its 31st Annual Summit Foundation Philanthropy Awards. Nominations will be accepted until Sept. 22. The awards will be held on Thursday, Nov. 9.
The following categories of contributions will be recognized:
Outstanding Business: This award acknowledges a business that has gone above and beyond to support philanthropic causes.
Outstanding Educator: This award recognizes an educator who has made a significant impact on the lives of students and the community through their dedication.
Outstanding Citizen: This honors an individual whose unwavering commitment to philanthropy has made a lasting difference in our community.
Dr. Oliver Stonington Award Outstanding Philanthropist: This award celebrates individuals or couples who have consistently demonstrated exceptional generosity and a deep commitment to philanthropic causes.
Outstanding Nonprofit Professional: This award recognizes a professional who has shown outstanding leadership and dedication within the nonprofit sector.
Outstanding Volunteer: This award commends individuals or groups who have selflessly given their time and energy to support charitable endeavors.
Outstanding Youth: This award acknowledges young individuals who have made a remarkable impact through their philanthropic efforts.
David Olbright Award Outstanding Youth Mentor: This awards an individual who has guided and inspired young people in the community.
Nominations are open to the public, and The Summit Foundation encourages everyone to participate by nominating deserving candidates who have made our community a better place through their community endeavors. To submit a nomination, visit SummitFoundation.org.
