The OHSU Foundation has announced a new slate of trustees of its board, including the appointment of long-time OHSU supporter and business leader Kelly Schrader as vice chair, and five other leaders.
The OHSU Foundation is governed by a volunteer board of trustees comprised of civic and business leaders who help the Foundation to ignite the power of philanthropy in support of OHSU’s missions.
“Board volunteer leaders and our trustees not only serve, but they also give their time, talents and treasure to OHSU in countless ways that make a difference in the lives of our patients, learners and employees,” said Jill Eiland, interim president of the OHSU Foundation. “Our trustees are tireless advocates and supporters of OHSU’s missions, priorities and future growth opportunities, and we are delighted to welcome this new cohort to the board.”
“I am excited for this new cohort of volunteer leaders to join the board and make a valuable impact contributing to OHSU’s missions,” said Greg Ness, chair of the OHSU Foundation board of trustees.
Schrader, who joins the foundation board as vice chair, has been a community volunteer and supporter of OHSU and OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital since 2014. Most recently, she served three years as the co-chair of the Doernbecher Philanthropy Board.
Previously, Schrader was president and CEO of iQ Credit Union and the senior vice president/chief operations and risk officer of OnPoint Community Credit Union. Schrader is also a member of the OHSU Foundation and Doernbecher Philanthropy Board stewardship committees and member of the 2022 – 23 OHSU Foundation presidential search committee.
