OhioHealth and M3S Sports are proud to announce that OhioHealth has renewed its title sponsor partnership with the OhioHealth Capital City Half & Quarter Marathon, one of central Ohio’s largest running and walking events. This new agreement includes a 5-year term.

“Since 2009, when OhioHealth began the partnership with M3S Sports, the bond between our organizations has been truly special and together we continue to reach more and more people in the communities we serve,” OhioHealth Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing and Communications Officer Sue Jablonski, says, “We are dedicated to working together to help people create lifelong memories while focusing on health and overall wellbeing. We are excited to see what the next five years brings for the community.”

“OhioHealth is a world-class organization and their title partnership with the Capital City Half Marathon has elevated the event and participant experience,” said Race Director, David Babner. “They are the leader in health and wellness in our community and we look forward to continuing this partnership and celebrating the healthy, active lifestyle.”

OhioHealth remains the Official Healthcare Provider of the OhioHealth Capital City Half Marathon. The team of OhioHealth Medical and Sports Medicine experts will continue to prepare runners and walkers for the Half & Quarter Marathon and 5K with training plans and tips to get them to the Start and Finish Line. The medical team, led by OhioHealth physician Benjamin Bring, DO, will be on-site during the event providing remarkable care for the runners and walkers.

“The OhioHealth Medical and Sports Medicine teams are the best in the business,” said Babner. “Continuing to provide the participants with the expert care that OhioHealth is known for takes this event to the next level.”

The OhioHealth Foundation continues to be the Official Benefiting Charity of the OhioHealth Capital City Half Marathon. Funds raised for the Foundation have gone to the cold cap therapy program, service animals, the Neuroscience Center as well as many other Foundation initiatives.

“Runners and walkers are a philanthropic group in nature so having the OhioHealth Foundation as the Official Benefiting Charity has elevated the participant experience while also contributing to this amazing Foundation,” Babner added. “We look forward to continuing to build this partnership and giving back to the community.”

OhioHealth is also the title sponsor of three additional M3S Sports produced events to celebrate the healthy, active lifestyle year around – the OhioHealth Grandview Yard Half & Quarter Marathon, the Flying Feather Four Miler and the OhioHealth First on the First 5K.
