The Royal Academy of Music in London is currently recruiting an Executive Officer (Philanthropy) to join their Development team. This full-time role, offering a salary range of £29,807 – £34,274 inclusive of London Allowance for 32.5 hours weekly, involves supporting the Deputy Principal (Advancement), Director of Philanthropy, and Deputy Director of Philanthropy.

The selected individual will be responsible for drafting high-level correspondence, producing high-value proposals for support, maintaining donor and gift records, and coordinating donor meetings and visits. They will also ensure key documents, templates, policies, and procedures are accessible for fundraisers. The role requires excellent administrative skills, familiarity with MS Office, experience in database maintenance, and proficiency in persuasive writing. While experience in an arts-based or music organisation is advantageous, a passion for arts, ideally music, and education is essential.

Interviews are scheduled via MS Teams on 11 September 2023 and in-person on 15 September 2023 at the Royal Academy of Music. Applications close on 4 September 2023.
