NEW HARTFORD — The 22nd annual Golf Tournament to benefit the community’s children will be held on Monday, June 26, at the Yahnundasis Golf Club, 8639 Seneca Turnpike.

Since its inception, the tournament has raised more than $1.6 million to support programs and services for vulnerable children and families.

This sold-out event begins with a shotgun tee-off at noon, boasting a full-day schedule of play, prizes, and hospitality stations. The day concludes with a cocktail hour followed by dinner and the awards ceremony.

“The ongoing success of our golf tournament would not be possible without the generous support of our sponsors, community leaders, volunteers, and friends,” said Laura DeStefanis, director of philanthropy, marketing and communications. “Together, we will raise more than $130,000 to provide vital resources that have a lasting positive impact on children and families in our community.”

The tournament leadership sponsor is First Source Federal Union.

The House of the Good Shepherd provides treatment, education, and support programs for the children and families. For more than 150 years, the House of the Good Shepherd has been committed to changing children’s lives by providing a continuum of services delivered within the context of family, culture, and community.
