The Montana Community Foundation is a gift to the state of Montana and the many donors who have trusted the foundation through the years to plan and invest in the Treasure state.
A very special anniversary party is being held tonight in Billings to celebrate 35 years of excellence through philanthropy and you are invited!
The party is being hosted at the Diamond X Beer Company in Billings at 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm.
“Join us in celebrating 35 years of serving Montana through philanthropy as we host anniversary parties around the state. You are part of this remarkable milestone and we look forward to celebrating all we have accomplished together for Montana since 1988,” said Montana Community Foundation Director of Communications Teal Whitaker.
“Here at the Montana Community Foundation, we care about Montana. It’s not just the place where we live and work, it’s our home. Since 1988, the Montana Community Foundation has worked tirelessly to create permanent philanthropy and build stronger communities. MCF manages more than $100 million in assets and administers more than 1,400 philanthropic funds and planned gifts. Our work with donors, charitable organizations, cities and towns plays a critical role in both philanthropic and community development. Since our founding, MCF has reinvested more than $90 million in Montana through scholarships, grants, and programs.
We are all about Montana’s future and want to inspire giving for the good of Montana forever. By entrusting the Montana Community Foundation with your legacy gift, you can be sure your gift will make a meaningful and permanent impact in Montana communities for the causes you care about,” said Whitaker.
Making a gift in your estate plan to benefit Montana is one of the most common ways to make a lasting difference for your community and for the countless Montanans who will call Montana home.
It starts by making a provision in personal estate planning in order to leave assets to the Montana Community Foundation.
The Montana Community Foundation is proud to partner with donors in supporting local nonprofit organizations and Montana communities through grantmaking. In the last 5 years, Montana Community Foundation has awarded more than $20 million to a variety of charitable causes across Montana.
Though most grants at the Montana Community Foundation are designated by donors, grants to nonprofits that go through a review process include Local Community Foundation Affiliate grants and special grant programs administered by the Foundation.
