NAAA’s latest Warren Young Fellow

Next up, the National Auto Auction Association announced Monday that Greater Rockford Auto Auction and Great Lakes Auto Auction president Ryan Clark has been named a Warren Young Fellow for 2023.

The award spotlights Clark, a third-generation auction owner, for his support of the association and the auction industry.

Clark has served on NAAA’s Midwest Chapter board of directors and was recently nominated to NAAA’s Legislative Committee, and he has also served on the board of directors at ServNet.

Clark is the president of the IAASC, which serves independent auto auctions.

As part of the award, a $2,500 donation is made in the name of each fellow to the NAAA Warren Young Sr. Scholastic Foundation.

Outreach at Missouri Auto Auction

Missouri Auto Auction recently lent a helping hand to Bree’s Gift, a nonprofit organization that honors the life of the late Bree Isabel Johnley (2015-2019) by providing families looking to adopt with up to 100% of the funds needed to do so.

Jennie Johnley, Bree’s mother and the founder of the organization, was formerly the national account manager at Missouri Auto Auction.

The auction teamed up with Bree’s Gift for the third straight year and raised $70,000 for the organization through the sale of a 1969 Volkswagen Beetle, Kansas City Chiefs tickets and more

“I am so proud of the team at Missouri Auto Auction” Johnley said in a news release. “It has been over five years since I worked at the auction, and the dealers and the customers haven’t forgotten about me.

“The money that we raise every year at this event helps so many families achieve their dreams of adopting children into their family, and I couldn’t be more proud of the love and support we receive from the customers at Missouri Auto Auction”.

The auction’s general manager, Justin Brown, said: “We are very proud to partner with this amazing organization.  The participation and generosity shown by our dealers and business partners in support of Bree’s Gift amazes me year after year.”

Missouri Auto Auction owner  Cody Boswell said: “This event is one of the best events we do each year. It makes your heart feel good helping these families.”
