Pure London joins Togetherbrand by Bottletop to boost sustainability

Fashion trade show Pure London has joined forces with eco premium brand #togetherthebrand by Bottletop to further champion sustainable fashion.  

The next edition of Pure London at Olympia from 16-18 July again showcases Sustainable Destination, a carefully curated selection of conscious exhibitors “leading the way in addressing their environmental and social impact”, and sponsored by #togetherthebrand by Bottletop

Unique to Pure London, the Sustainable Destination uses the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to assess the impact of all exhibitors who must demonstrate they’re tackling specific key issues to exhibit within the destination.

Building on the success of its launch at the February show, “Sustainable will continue to raise the profile of ethical and sustainable fashion across the entire event, helping lower the industry’s carbon footprint and invest in a better future”. 

Co-founder of #togetherbrand by Bottletop Cameron Saul said the partnership will “raise awareness and inspire action on the delivery of the 17 UN SDGs — our route map for a healthy planet — to the UK retail sector.

“We will be showcasing our collection, which is made from regenerative materials ranging from food waste to recycled confiscated firearms from conflict areas and offcuts from satellites and spacecraft. 

“With every sale we are not only raising critical funds for grass roots projects affecting change and retrieving waste materials from natural ecosystems. We are also inviting the world to join us in advocating for the future that we all want to see for the next generations with products that demonstrate that progress is possible.” 

Joining the Sustainable Destination will be other “environmentally-conscious, innovative and inspiring” brands including Pink Lemons, Mirla Beane, Ochre Cashmere, Nila Rubia, Line Planet, Radada, Ras100, Eno Eco, Ubere Mama and Friends of the Sea.
