“We are proud to support the work Barwon Health Foundation is doing in the community to support healthier futures for residents of Geelong, especially those living in the northern suburbs” he said.
“We are very excited to see what our continued partnership will bring to the Geelong community in the future.”
The charity auction will be a key plank for the foundation’s fundraising $1m goal.
Barwon Health Foundation executive director Zoe Waters said the inaugural House4Health Charity Auction presented an exciting opportunity to support the health of the Geelong community on a scale never seen before.
“We have been overwhelmed by the generosity of Lara Lakes Estate helping to make this vision a reality,” she said.
“This is a truly special charity auction, where 100 per cent of the sale price of this luxury home, in a sought-after estate, will stay right here in Geelong, supporting the health of the people of Greater Geelong.
“Lino Bisinella has been building fantastic communities for current and future residents to enjoy since 1964, she said.
“This donation is a symbol of his commitment to the wider Geelong community, ensuring residents are provided with access to great healthcare and lifestyle opportunities.”
Lara Lakes is located at the top of the Lara West Growth Area and borders the existing township.
The construction and sale of the house will be made possible by the support of generous Geelong businesses.
“This exciting, large-scale fundraiser wouldn’t be possible without an army of supporters. We look forward to announcing further House4Health partnerships in due course,” Ms Waters said.
