The Dholakia Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Hari Krishna Exports Pvt. Ltd., has once again garnered recognition for its impactful societal contributions by winning the Philanthropy category at The Indian Family Business Awards 2022, an initiative of Moneycontrol and Waterfield in India.
This accolade recognises and rewards family-owned businesses that have demonstrated exceptional leadership in addressing societal challenges through innovative approaches, leading to noteworthy progress in community well-being, charitable initiatives, partnerships, and non-profit ventures.
The award was presented by Hon’ble Minister of Commerce & Industry Shri Piyush Goyal to Tulsi Dholakia and Pintu Dholakia of Hari Krishna Exports, commemorating their exceptional achievement at an event in Delhi on 19th August.
Commenting on receiving the award, Tulsi Dholakia said, “We are deeply humbled and elated to be recognised with this esteemed award. Philanthropy has always been at the core of our values, and this recognition further motivates us to continue our efforts to bring about meaningful change.”
In his address, Shri Piyush Goyal reflected on India’s journey from being one of the five most fragile economies a decade ago to its current growth and improvement. He highlighted the courage of conviction that drove India’s transformation, attributing this success to the hard work of Indian family-owned businesses.
