Must Read

Overview:

Launched in 1983 as Public Interest Projects, a 501(c)(3) public
charity, NEO Philanthropy is a New York based national leader in
innovative philanthropic solutions. We lead large-scale
collaborative grantmaking funds on a range of social justice
issues, provide fiscal sponsorship and management to projects and
campaigns, manage donor advised funds and develop organization and
field-focused capacity building initiatives.

Since its inception in 2010, SIF has raised more than $160 million
to support the long-term sustainability of state-based networks of
nonpartisan organizations that: educate, register and mobilize
voters; organize communities to advocate on issues and policies;
support expanded access to the polls; and fight efforts to suppress
voter participation among underrepresented communities, including
people of color, new citizens, low-income communities, women and
young people. By building a highly effective set of infrastructure
organizations that can perform multiple tasks such as, year-round
cross-issue organizing, voter registration and mobilization, voter
protection and litigation and education around public policy, we
build the machinery needed to empower individuals, promote public
interest and strengthen the architecture of our democracy year in
and year out.
