Selfless Love Foundation has named Patricia Poldo its new philanthropy director. Poldo will cultivate relationships with supporters to help SLF have an impact on more children and youth in foster care as the Jupiter-based nonprofit expands nationally.
Poldo holds a degree in elementary education and is a Certified Fund Raising Executive, or CFRE. Poldo has helped to shape the growth of nonprofits and educational institutions, including Palm Beach Atlantic University and Regent University.
“Patricia has decades of fundraising expertise, and a personal connection to foster care. Her parents opened their home to a foster child,” Selfless Love Foundation founder and CEO Ashley Brown said in a news release. “We are extremely lucky to have her on our team and excited for our supporters to get to know her.”
Since 2015, Selfless Love Foundation has helped to connect hundreds of children with forever families, supported thousands of youth aging out of foster care, and advocated for systems-level changes. This year, SLF began expanding to other states, starting with Texas. Info: selflesslovefoundation.org.
