OLD LYME — On Wednesday, April 19, from 12 to 1:30 p.m., Lyme-Old Lyme Community Connections hosts a Networking Luncheon & Discussion at the Old Lyme Country Club.
The guest speaker will be Claire Gadrow, who serves as Development Director at High Hopes Therapeutic Riding, Inc. She will speak on, “Philanthropy is Rooted in Relationships.”
Gadrow will share best practices in a comprehensive giving program. While she spent 30 years in ambitious university campaigns, the fundamentals can be scaled to any size organization. She will be discussing important topics for your organization such as:
• What are national trends in philanthropy?
• What does a donor-centered approach mean?
• If you have limited staff and financial resources, where do you prioritize?
• What is the most important thing you can do in a successful fundraising program?
Roundtable discussions, a Q & A session, and networking will follow the presentation.
The cost is $30 including lunch and all are welcome. Join community and non-profit leaders, staff, board members, and volunteers to re-connect and network.
Registration is preferred for planning purposes but walk-ins are always welcome.
