Stephanie Dodson Cornell has been tapped as executive director of the $7.9 billion family foundation.
She was most recently managing director at the Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation.
Communities Foundation of Texas
Wayne White will be the $1.4 billion grant maker’s next president and CEO. Most recently he was executive vice president at the American Cancer Society.
White succeeds Dave Scullin, who retired in March after six years at the helm.
March of Dimes
Elizabeth Cherot has been promoted to president and CEO; she will be the first medical doctor to lead this charity that promotes access to maternal and infant health care.
Cherot was previously senior vice president and chief medical and health officer, in charge of the organization’s Office of Maternal and Child Health Impact. She succeeds Karen Walker Johnson, who has served as interim president and CEO since January.
National 4-H Council
Jill Bramble, executive vice president and chief growth officer, has been promoted to president and CEO of the National 4-H Council.
Her new role starts on August 18.
Points of Light
Jennifer Sirangelo, president and CEO of the National 4-H Council, will be the next president and CEO of this charity that former President George H.W. Bush founded to promote volunteerism and advance community change. She starts her new position on September 5.
Diane Quest, who has served as interim president and CEO since December, has been promoted to chief operating officer. Previously she was its chief external-affairs officer.

Travis Chamberlain, executive director at QueerArt, has been named executive director of Washington Project for the Arts.
Diane Jean-Mary, an executive-strategy consultant to arts and culture organizations, will be the next executive director of the Black Trustee Alliance for Art Museums.
Jenique Jones, vice president for program operations and policy at City Harvest, has been appointed executive director of WhyHunger.
Alma Martinez will be the first executive director of the Central Valley Journalism Collaborative, which the James B. McClatchy Foundation founded in 2021 as a nonprofit media group in California’s Central Valley. A former reporter who covered issues facing Latino, immigrant, and farm-worker communities in Fresno, Calif., she was most recently community-relations specialist at Community Medical Centers.
Emily Masengale has been promoted from assistant executive director to CEO of Christel House Indianapolis. In addition, Sarah Weimer, executive director and CEO of Christel House Indianapolis, has been promoted to chief of staff at Christel House International, the charter-school network’s global headquarters.
Gordon McInally has been named president of Rotary International. He will serve alongside John Hewko, the community-service group’s general secretary and CEO. A dentist who owned a dental practice in Edinburgh, McInally was previously president and vice president at Rotary International in Great Britain and Ireland. He follows Jennifer Jones, Rotary International’s first woman president, who is stepping down after her one-year term.
Julie Myers will become CEO of the One Love Foundation in Honor of Yeardley Love in September. For the past 28 years, she has directed the women’s lacrosse program at the University of Virginia. In addition, Ojeda Hall has been promoted to president. Previously, Hall was executive director of the One Love Foundation’s Mid-Atlantic Region.
Carol Ann Schwartz will become president of Hadassah, the Women’s Zionist Organization of America, on January 1 and will work alongside its CEO, Naomi Adler. Schwartz is vice president at the Morris Investment Company, a Cincinnati real-estate investor.
Mind Trust
The education organization in Indianapolis has promoted four leaders.
Porsche Chisley was promoted to vice president of expanded impact. Previously she was senior director of special projects.
Kristin Grimme, senior vice president of strategy, is now chief strategy officer.
Madeline Poulakidas, director of finance and operations, has become senior director of finance and operations.
Shannon Williams has been promoted from executive vice president to chief operating officer and executive vice president.

Jess Aylor has been promoted to executive director of library development for the University Libraries at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She was hired in April 2022 as director of library development and was immediately appointed interim executive director.
Michael Beville has been hired as chief revenue officer at Foundation Source. He most recently worked at Blackbaud as vice president for global sales strategy.
Ignacio Gavilan, director of sustainability at the Consumer Goods Forum, has been hired as senior director of food systems partnerships at the Global FoodBanking Network.
Felisha Lewis, membership director at the Berkshire Partners Blue Hill Club, is joining the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston as director of its Orchard Gardens Club.
Jaimin Modi, vice president of operations at HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake, has been named chief operating officer at Rio Grande Regional Hospital.
Greg Nelson has joined Opportunity International as chief technology officer. Until 2021, he was vice president of partner ecosystems for business applications at Microsoft.
Mark Riddick has been promoted from regional director of behavioral-health operations to deputy senior director of behavioral health at Endeavors, which serves people experiencing mental illness, disabilities, disasters, or emergencies in the San Antonio area.
Natalie Van Eron, chief development officer for the Ronald McDonald House of Northeast Florida, will be the first chief development officer at Entrepreneurship for All. In addition, Peter Whaley has been hired as chief operating officer. Most recently he was a managing director at City Year.
Jennifer White-Reid, senior vice president of domestic-violence residential and legal programs at the Urban Resource Institute, has been promoted to chief of staff and senior adviser to its CEO, Nathaniel Fields.
Departures
Margaret Hall is stepping down as CEO of the GreenLight Fund, the grant maker for children, youths, and families that she co-founded in 2003.
Elizabeth Sullivan, managing program director at the Margaret A. Cargill Philanthropies for the past 10 years, plans to retire in September.
Nancy Yao, who was announced in March as founding director of the Smithsonian American Women’s History Museum, has withdrawn her application and will not lead the forthcoming museum in Washington. Melanie Adams, director of the Smithsonian’s Anacostia Community Museum, will serve as interim director while the Smithsonian searches for a permanent replacement.
Legacy
Susan Love, a breast surgeon who founded the Dr. Susan Love Foundation for Breast Cancer Research in 1995, died from leukemia on July 2. She was 75. Love retired from her medical career in 1996 to lead the charity full time.
